Gadai (Shri Ramakrishna Paramhans) was such an avid devotee of mother Kali, he use to regard Maa Kali as his own mother, and use to talk to her daily, people thought he was mad but he wasn’t, he being the head priest of the Dakshineshwar Kali Temple, he use to taste the offerings and bhogs offered to Maa Kali himself before offering it to Maa Kali and other priest of the temple use to feel offended and angered by the act of Shri Ramkrishnaji they use to say why are you offering your Juthan(eaten food) to goddess, you should be banished from the temple and the other priest and management of temple banished Shri Ramkrishnaji from the temple.
Two three days after this incident Rani Rasmoni had a dream in which our mother Maa Kali said to Rani Rasmoni that my son has not eaten any food for the last few days he is unwell, and along with him even I have not tasted any food from the day my son has left the temple, immediately go to my son bring him to me with some food so that we both can have food together.
Rani Rasmoni ran like a maniac to Ramkrishnaji and told her dream, Ramkrishnaji said I used to taste the food before offering to mother because I wanted to give only good food to her, and throw away anything bad before even it is offered to mother.
Rani Rasmoni cried by looking at such supreme devotion of Shri Ramkrishnaji, immediately took Shri Ramkrishnaji to Dakshineshwar temple and made Shri Ramkrishnaji offer food to Mata by tasting it before offering it to Maa Kali
