Rahu- the unspoken words of the soul that transforms into desires.
illusion feels real because you get attached to it. Rahu isn’t a demon it’s the shadow of your hidden self, the one that refused confrontation and the words that got stuck to your throat, the emotions that you kept in your heart without confessing. Rahu drank amrita without permission without devotion with no entitlement. He didn’t wait to be chosen, he chose himself.
Lord Vishnu the lord of maya and preservation beheads Rahu and separates maya from body for Ketu to become Yogi. But Rahu doesn’t die he remains as the unfolded, unanswered desires. Desires don’t die, when mortality cuts it. The only separation that occurs is the disconnection from conscience and acceptance when you lose control of self. Rahu is just the head floating without a body thinking without grounding
Rahu is unintegrated desire – things you want, you are attracted to but you don’t know why. Rahu is the unhealed story of your past birth, that wants to seek answers by establishing the connection. Rahu are the things you chase but can’t digest. Identities you try on without becoming complete. Rahu is symbolic of consciousness without maturity.
Rahu is dangerous. Rahu amplifies whatever you suppress, deny or moralize. If you are dishonest with yourself- chaos, confusion, wrong decisions. If you are self-aware- elevation and evolution
Rahu doesn’t ruin lives, it removes the buffer- the extra borrowed knowledge, and false identity. Rahu counters you, to stop pretending, no more autopilot. It either awakens you faster or drags you down completely.
Rahu Mahadasha- a mahadasha of transformation. Just imagine you have a name, and you have identified yourself with it and all of a sudden you realise this was never you. You were someone else, meant to do something else.
Rahu Mahadasha:
Rahu mahadasha shakes you, to wake you up. Gives you unusual relationships that needs closure from your previous birth- a promise you made that never got fulfilled. A weird pull towards someone thats so painful. Rahu takes you towards foreign interests, tattoos, unconventional choices. Questioning self- who am I? And coming up with new identies everytime. Addictions to people, substances or validations that give comfort.

Rahu forces you to meet your shadow- your twin without filters
People fail to understand Rahu, so they move in circles. They control Rahu instead of understanding it. Rahu doesn’t want just your discipline; it responds to your blunt self-honesty. The more you suppress, lie to yourself, Rahu amplifies its grip.
Gift of Rahu: Your own shadow that reflects materialism and spiritual awakening, but not through traditional ways of thinking
Rahu lets you experience and learn in the battlefield. Rahu wants you to touch the fire and then test the waters.
Rahu and spirituality: it doesn’t care about narratives around purity. It accepts non-duality that comes with merging, acceptance and integration of your greatest fear, desires and emotions. You don’t transcend desires by denying it, you transcend desires by seeing through it. That’s why Rahu produces mystical forces- tantriks, rebels, truth breakers, aghors, researchers and scientists
Does Rahu feel unfair?
It breaks patterns, linear karmas, ancestral patterns and prerequisited love patterns. It reminds you of duties you gladly refused in persuance of your desires and spiritual goals. It will take you back to the person you hurt the most in your previous life so you face what you left behind because of some cowardance act f yours. It just gives outcomes before you are even ready and then pushes you to handle the consequences. It exposes spiritual bypassing.
Rahu Tests you:
Rahu would want you to pursue power over emotions, then questions “why are you still dissatisfied” Rahu would ask you to get married on conditions then ask ” why are you still craving for love” Can you desire without getting addicted? Can you succeed without asking for validation? Can you be seen without performing? Rahu would want you to turn towards sexual desires than love and then would ask you ” Is this what you wanted”?
Rahu doesn’t want you to follow blindly, it doesn’t raise fake disciples. It wants consciousness to wake up under pressure.
Rahu isn't your enemy:
Rahu is your mirror. If you are having a tough time in your mahadasha doesn’t mean you failed. Rahu hasn’t destroyed you, it has only removed everything false that could not survive.
Saturn builds you slowly through your karmas. Jupiter guides you through your wisdom. But Rahu throws you down, in darkness in deep waters and asks : Are you really a swimmer or were you pretending to be one all this while?
