The Guru Who Came to Argue
(Spiritual ego is so true)

You can tell when belief is being used as armor. The voice gets louder, the certainty gets sharper, the need to convert you grows urgent.

Half the world is living like this right now. Exhausted, in crisis, in survival mode, trying to hold life together with whatever story still works. And yet from that very exhaustion comes a strange confidence: let me tell you what to believe and what not to. Convincing you becomes a way to steady the self. If you agree, my world feels solid again.

Then there is the stranger case. The ones who talk about identity dissolution and then log on to fight. If there is no self, who is arguing? If all is one, who needs to win?

The answer is uncomfortable. Dissolution has become an identity. A cleaner, more spiritual identity, but still an identity. And any identity, however subtle, needs an other. The asleep ones. The egoic ones. The ones who just do not get it. The language is nonduality, the structure is pure duality: me knowing, you lacking.

Real nonduality would have nothing to prove. It might speak, it might point, it might even disagree clearly, but you would feel no clutch in it. No hunger for the last word. It could say what it sees and leave you completely free to misunderstand it.
