Very few men can execute their wives as Bhairavi. Even though Kamasutra speaks about Dharma and the execution with the consort. A lot fail to understand the basic of Kamasutra which actually revolves around Dharma artha kama and then moksha. But many feel “kamasutra” is a book of kriyas and sex- its book of sexual kriyas to conduct yourself in an absolute dharmic way.

In Bhairavi sadhna you can’t lust your bhairavi. You overcome it through your kriyas.Eventually the Bhairavi turns into Matri swaroopa as a source of energy. Here your karmas get attached to her for 3 cycles of Bhairavi Chakra which is equivalenr to 3 births together. Its impossible to come out of it, before completing the cycle.

If a person tries another Bhairavi(female) it will be a temporary transmutation. In yoni tantra, Bhairavi is said to be the “sarvsrastha” Kamakhya Yoni emiting different radiations and frequencies of energies once her energies are invoked. Other’s energies unless invoked(Avaran pujan of Devi) wouldn’t give results.

What happens when u divide yourself in dwaita in tantra(Bhairav and Bhairavi Sadhna)?

We are born Adwaita(we all have the three powers- iccha shakti, kriya shakti and janna shakti) along with Vishnu(power of preservation), Shiv(power of transformation) and Brahma(pure Vidya). But with our habits and conditioning we aquire one energy or tattva at a time. Since we all have divine masculine and feminine energy within ourselves…the energy that you have needs to be worked on to get self realised i.e if you are a male then masculine, female- feminine energy.

Once your atma is awakened, to balance the other energy- you pray to the opposite dwaita energy i.e Females- Shiva and males- Devi. This creates a balance and you awaken your Brahma gyan…

Usually the ones who are into Bhairav and Bhairavi sadha they come together to procreate and complete the missing elements and also feel love and balance. However, this also creates a 3 chakra karma of 3 births of togetherness.

So can tantra be practiced alone without a partner- yes, with a partner- yes. But if you are looking for moksha- then practice adwaita. From Bhog to moksha is another method, but time and again the balance with the Bhairavi will get disturbed here because your prarabhda karma are also intervening.

So if in the previous birth you have already completed this cycle, and this birth you have restarted again- the bondage will entangle you to infinity till you don’t complete the cycle of both of yours together.

The symbolism of the Sun and Moon in Tantra is profound and multifaceted, reflecting the richness of Tantric philosophy and cosmology. In the Tantric tradition, these celestial bodies are not merely physical entities but also hold deep spiritual significance, representing the duality and unity of existence. In Kundalini Tantra, the sun and moon also symbolize the polarities of masculine and feminine energy. The union of these energies is depicted through the ascent of the kundalini energy, which rises through the spine, activating each chakra as it ascends, leading to spiritual awakening.
The sun, is seen as a masculine symbol, represents strength, power, and vitality. It is associated with the principle of consciousness, the external self, and enlightenment. The sun’s light and warmth are metaphors for clarity, growth, and the illumination of truth.
During a solar eclipse, Tantric rituals are very important, as this event is seen as a powerful time for spiritual practices and transformation. The Surya Gayatri Mantra is often recited to honor the sun and to harness the spiritual energy of the eclipse. Mantra sadhana, is said to be particularly effective during an eclipse. It is a time when the veil between the physical and spiritual worlds is considered thinner, allowing for a deeper connection with the divine.
In the Tantric tradition, a solar eclipse is not just a physical phenomenon but also a metaphysical event that has deep spiritual significance. It is believed that during an eclipse, the normal order of the universe is disrupted, leading to a temporary suspension of the laws of the physical world. This disruption is seen as an opportune time for spiritual growth and transformation. During a solar eclipse, when the moon obscures the sun, it is said to symbolize the union of masculine and feminine energies, leading to a moment of cosmic balance and harmony.
The solar eclipse is also a time to confront your shadow self. Just as the moon’s shadow falls upon the earth, I advise you are to reflect on the aspects of yourselves that are usually hidden or suppressed. By doing this, you can achieve a greater sense of self-awareness.

“Tantra.” “Tantric.”

Two words that have come to mean sex, sexual massage and so on – you do a Google search and what do you get – Tantric Sex, Tantric Massage but nothing about Tantra.
Such meanings get ascribed to “Tantra” only thanks to west’s obsession with sex. Thus, they have managed to create an impression, even in many Indian minds that Tantra = Sex.
But the truth lies elsewhere. “Tantra” isn’t just something you take to for a sexual release or escape. Rather Tantra is a complex of multiple esoteric practices, texts & traditions. Ones that span multiple Indic faiths like Hinduism, as well as Jainism and Buddhism.
The fact is that the west has appropriated “Tantra” rather well with a highly oriental filter. The west has successfully co-opted it under new-age western ideas of sex, black magic and marketed as an esoteric activity.
This misrepresentation of Tantra as mostly a sexual activity by the west has ensured that people don’t believe you when you say that Tantra is much more than sex. This exaggeration of sex in west’s marketing of tantric practices is not just mistaken but actually wrongs a highly spiritual practice.
Very often you will find that “Tantra” and “sex magic” are used as synonyms by the west; they are clearly looking through a western lens as there is no similarity between sex magic of Americas & Europe of the 19th/20th century and the ancient Indian tantric practices. Their mainstreaming has been done by occultist organisation Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO) and prominent people like Aleister Crowley.
Dominated by the west the way it is, the ill-informed or shall I say its own version of Tantra dominates the west. To say that it’s completely nonsensical is to put it mildly. For the west, “Tantra” is just a tool for orgasmic pleasure; a spiritual awakening is a by-product via sexual liberation.
The truth is that originally, tantric practices were essentially yogic in nature. The only sexual aspect of it, in some way, was its purpose: achieving ānanda (bliss), not pleasure. Of course, pleasure may lead to bliss.

Tantric sexual practices
of this kind are essentially ritualistic. As these are largely esoteric, they are performed under a guru’s supervision in highly controlled environments. Mantra chanting accompanies these rituals and the deities are Shiva and Shakti that are exhibited through ritual symbolism.
So, how and when did the west discover Tantra? What made the west ecstatic about it? For people living in the sexually repressive Victorian era of 19th & 20th century guided them to seek releases in “deviant” forms of sexuality and Tantra was hence easy meat, so to say.
Christian missionaries in India, by themselves a repressed set of people, were fascinated by Tantra. It repulsed them even as it allowed them to indulge in perverse fascination. People like colonizer and pornographic “writer” Edward Sellon branded it as “black art of the crudest and filthiest kind”. Eventually, Tantra became confused with repulsive and gross orientalist pornographic descriptions of Indian women in Victorian England.
OTO, as mentioned earlier, led the western spread of Tantra. Theodore Reiss founded an esoteric brotherhood and pronounced ownership of a most secretive form of esotericism and mysticism. Thus happened the synthesized fusion of Western Sex Magic & Hindu Tantra, under OTO.
Nowadays, Tantra is essentially about heightened sexual pleasure, and is hence marketed towards people focused on it. Instant gratification is promised as described in a celebrated book by Judy Kazynsky – “Complete idiots guide to Tantric sex.”
As you may notice, the West has been downright racist when it comes to Tantra. It has taken a highly spiritual discipline, Tantra, converted it into a commodity and sold it to eager, salivating buyers. In fact, Tantra is one of the shining examples of the way “West Supremacy” has been forced on all things from our continent, especially India. It’s time to assert ourselves, turn this around and shed the colonial baggage once and for all.

Rahu is the giver of knowledge and Ketu gives mastery, both are interlinked with each other. Every magician and occultist needs deep knowledge about the subject at the same time needs mastery to perform magic and gain results, without knowledge mastery will not possible and without mastery knowledge is useless. Rahu and Ketu are the givers knowledge and mastery in Magic, Medicine, Alchemy, Occult science, etc. Jupiter can give knowledge and mastery in all fields but in case of magic, alchemy, medicine and occult science without shadow planets grace, Jupiter alone will not give mastery on it. Mainly for magical deals with invocation and evocations of angels, devils, demons and spirits need grace and permission from shadow planets.

Rahu ketu is single one who was born to “Asuras” (Demon or Devil having equal power as Devatas (Angel) called her as “Simhika”, after creation of nectar “AMRIT” (which gives immortality) Rahu ketu masqueraded as devatas & drank the nectar only meant for the gods. The Sun and Moon witnessed it and informed lord Vishnu ruler of the universe, by using his divine weapon The Sudarshana Chakra Lord Vishnu separated the head and body of Rahu & ketu but as the two had consumed nectar of immortality Rahu ketu became immortal. Lord Vishnu didn’t have other options but to give a position which is equal to 7 planets in galaxy and lord Shiva given responsibilities to them. Rahu is tail and Ketu is head of a demon king. After getting position in galaxy Rahu took revenge on Sun by creating hatred (Vidweshanam) between Sun and Saturn (As per Indian Astrology Saturn is the son of Sun)

Rahu and Ketu gives direct contact with demons, devils, spirits and angels. Saturn, Jupiter, Rahu and Ketu are planets which gives skills, knowledge and mastery in magic. Saturn and Shadow planets creates strong aura with power of attraction and fascination around the magician which is unbreakable. If Saturn and shadow planets are in good position a practitioner can rule the universe of magic by enslaving demons, devils and spirits. In case they are in bad position, every ritual done by practitioner will have negative outcomes and he will face failure in the field of magic. Jupiter can save magician to a certain extent in case shadow planets show negative results because Jupiter is said to be master of devatas who are rivals of Asuras. Venus is said to be master for Asuras. Saturn, Shadow planets, Venus can give or make direct contact with devils, demons and spirits where Jupiter can give for angels. So, magician can start rituals of angels from Thursday and for devils and demons start from Friday or Saturday for good results.

Due to demonic nature of Rahu and Ketu, they will give 100% positive or 100% negative results in rituals. So, ancient astrology and magical texts warned magician to avoid the timings of Rahu for rituals. Timings of Rahu as per Astrology (According to IST): Sunday – 4:30PM to 6:00PM Monday- 7:30AM to 9:00AM Tuesday- 3:00PM to 4:30PM Wednesday- 12:00PM to 1:30PM Thursday- 1:30PM to 3:00PM Friday- 10:30AM to 12:00PM Saturday- 9:00AM to 10:30AM.

As per Tantraa philosophy there are eight bondages/chains which bind soul to the Maya. These bondages are Ghrina (Hate), Lajjaa (Shame), Bhaya (Fear, shankaa(Doubt), Jugupsaa(censure/reproach), Kula (caste), Jaati(creed) and Sheela (Modesty). Any consciousness which is bound by these 8 bondages is called Jiva (Individual soul) and the consciousness who is free from all these chains is called Sadashiva (Universal consciousness – Free soul/God).

In Chapter 8 of Durga Saptshati, when Demons Chanda and Munda died, Shumbha the demon king becomes angry and ordered his army to start attacking. He cries ,” O demons, I order all armies of Asuras alongwith 86 Udyudhas, 84 Kambus, 50 Kotiviryas, 100 Dhomras, Kalakas, Dauhrids, Mauryas and Kalkeya demons to march for war.

Here Durga Saptshati reveals a great secret of Tantraa and that of Universe and Maya. Demon shumbha which represents our EGO names 8 types of demons to win over Good. These 8 types of demons in fact, signify the Ashtapasha which bind a person to Maya.

These 8 bondages have been reflected as 8 demon types in Saptshati and when Jiva invokes Mother Shakti, SHE fights these demons in us and breaks the bondages created by these Asuras and makes us free …a Sadashiva !!

The Chief demon Shumbha (depicting our Ego) is dependent on 8 demons to win the war and he would cease to be powerful when his army is killed. similarly Ego will cease to be once these 8 bondages are removed. Now let us look into details what these chains are.

1- Hatered : Hate is depicted by demon Udayudha. when Shumbha says 86 Udayudhas be ready, it tells us about the 86 types of hatered which aid our Ego and keeps us away from divinity. Hatered is a double edged sword. It not only forces us not to love someone it also nourishes our Ego telling it that it is better than the subject being hated. Ego can hate in 86 ways thus there are 86 Udayudha demons. Ten organs and Four Antakarnas, these fourteen generate hate towards four types of living beings (trees, reptiles/insects, animals and humans). Thus ego has total 56 types of hatered in waking state. In dream state, organs are missing hence 4 antahkarnas generate this hate for 4 types of living beings….and in dreamless state ego hates ten organs and 4 anthakarans thus all total making 86 types of hatered. These demons keep the ego satisfied and powerful. Mother shakti when evoked, kills these 86 hates and frees our Ego from one bondage called Hatered.

2- Lajjaa (Shame) : This bondage has been depicted by Kambu demons. Kambu is also a word for Conch signifying the animal who hides behind the hard shell to protect himself from others. Here Shame or hiding oneself from one’s weakness and keeping away from others to save one’s self-respect. This is also a sort of bondage on the soul. Soul hides itself beind 6 bodies and ten organs and four antahkarnas, hence making its number as 84. Here durga saptashati very bravely declares that these demons too are manifestations of Mother only when it sings (in 5th chapter)

Yaa Devi sarva Bhuteshu Lajjaa rupen sansthhitaa

Namastasaye namastasaye namstasaye namoh namah

(The Mother who manifests in all jiva as Lajja please accept my respects)

But to liberate ourselves into universal consciousness, this bondage has to be removed.

3- Bhaya (Fear ) : This third bondage is depicted by demon Kautivirya. Fear of death, feal of losing respect or nears and dears keeps the ego busy in Maya and hinders its way towards greater awareness. Durga Saptashati says Kautivirya is numbered 50. Ten organs and 5 koshas of body (Pls see my post 5 bodies of the soul in Saadhnaa club) are the place where fear is generated thus making the number 50 of Kautivirya demons.

4 – Shankaa (Doubt) : this fourth bondage is shown as Dhaumra demon. all the doubts arise due to distorted or false knowledge. Our 10 organs and 10 mahabhutas (earth, water, air, fire, ether – 5 in gross and 5 in subtle plane) are their solace hence Shumbha calls for 100 dhaumra demons to win the war.

Doubt keeps the ego busy thus keeping it entangled in Maya.

5- Jugupsa (censure/reproach): When due to false knowledge we see others as different from us, we censure others to prove us right. This too is treated as fifth bondage of the Soul. they are also of 100 types as in above para.

6- kula (caste): Dauhadri demon denotes proud of being related to one’s birth. Even after listening to Brahma Gyana many times, this bondage of birth pride does not leave us. Only Mother’s kindness can kill this demon and free us from this chain. they are also of 100 types.

7 – Jaati (creed): Demon Kalkeya denotes it. Due to false knowledge, Jiva is proud of his body being special (e.g. human body, white or black) This bondage is very powerful and no theroetical knowledge of God can remove this. Human souls is re-born again and again mainly due to this bondage. They are also of 100 types

8- sheela (Modesty). This bondage is denoted by demon Maurya. The modesty means Nature of Jiva, an idea Jiva makes about himself and the universe during the course of his many births. This bondage is also called Rudra-Granthi. Even after attaining the higher stages of spirituality, one is not free from this bondage and only removal of this bondage one is established into Advaita (union with god). An example of shri Ramakrishna paramhansa will further explain this bondage. When Guru Totapuri met paramhansa to teach him about Advaita, and asked him to sit in samadhi, shri Paramhansa saw Mother Kali only. then guru Totapuri ordered paramhansa to take an imaginary sword and cut the throat of Mother Kali…Paramhansa was so fond of Mother kali that he could not do it many times and finally when he did that, he was lost into Nirvikalpa samadhi a state of highest consciousness. So removal of this bondage is not easy. Only god or a god-sent guru can remove this final Bondage from Jiva.

without removing these 8 bondages, Jiva can not know his real self. People may try to do many types of sadhna, but these sadhnas sometimes further strengthen the bondages. We have to remember one thing there that Moksha and bondages both are in fact imaginary. Getting out of bondages, one would find that there was nothing called Moksha or bondage and one was already free.

then what is the way out to get ourselves free from these pashas? It is not easy to get rid of these Pashas. In B.Geeta Bhagwan Krishna says :-

Vishaya vinivartantey nirahaarasya dehina (The abstemious embodied self, of course, keeps off sensible objects, but not necessarily the relish for them.)

Is it easy to remove these 8 chains (divided into 720 types) so easily? What is the way out then? YES there is one way. complete surrender to the Mother. If we, like Paramhansa present our whole being to the Mother, we will see that these demons come forward and present themselves to the Mother for sacrifice on the altar of our Yajna of Bhakti and liberate our soul towards greater truths.

To begin with, we have first to leave our cunningness, selfishness and our false pride and surrender unconditionally to the Mother and request her to break our chains. Mother will not listen to our request if we first not purify ourselves . Lord Rama says in Ramcharitmanas.

Nirmal guni jan so mohi pawa

Mohi kapat chhal chhidra na bhava

pious and purifed souls reach me

Because I do not like cunningness, selfishness and pride

So let us begin today on the eve of Durga Ashtami with no prejudice…with no pride and with complete surrender…

Aum Krin Kalikaye namah

Jatinder Pal Singh Sindhu
